The Fresno Centralized Event Calendar
|
It's time for the Fresno Region to have a world-class centralized event calendar.
Keynote speaker - Matt Lehrman will speak about The Absurdity of Empty Seats - An empty seat never recommended anything to anybody. It's time to ignite a new model of audience development - one sparked by collaboration, new technologies and a jolt of entrepreneurial spirit.
Matt is the founding Executive Director of Alliance for Audience (AFA), a service organization founded in 2003 to advance the mutual audience development goals of the arts organizations and cultural destinations of the Greater Phoenix region. Best known as ShowUp.com, AFA serves more than 200 member organizations and its services have grown to include Metro Tucson andmost recently, Flagstaff, AZ, all using the Artsopolis calendar platform.
In addition to the Arizona ShowUp.com calendars, Matt has consulted with numerous communities around the country to assist them develop centralized event calendars.
He is the co-director [in partnership with ArtsFund (Seattle)] of Project Audience, a Mellon-Foundation sponsored exploration process to envision the next generation of technology to power the collaborative, community-level audience development efforts of the arts and cultural community.
